This module covers the fundamentals and clinical applications of facial aesthetics in dental practice, beginning with facial anatomy and rigorous patient selection. It details the indications of treatments for the various wrinkles (glabella, forehead, crow's feet, lips, perioral areas) as well as the enhancement of lip contours and the smile. Therapeutic applications are also explored, particularly in the management of bruxism, TMJ disorders, gummy smile, black triangles, and tension headaches. The module includes the prevention and management of complications, as well as the integration of dental lasers into modern protocols, in order to ensure safe, aesthetic, and functional results.
