Module 6

Immediate Post-Extraction Implants and Immediate Loading. Soft Tissue Management Around Implants Upcoming

  • Connective tissue and its importance around implants.
  • Connective tissue augmentation techniques: coronally advanced flaps, pedicle flaps, connective tissue grafts.
  • The post-extraction socket.
  • Indications for immediate implants.
  • Regeneration techniques for post-extraction defects.
  • Immediate loading.
  • Prosthetic complications.

visitors/formations/show.module_objectives

  • This module aims to train participants in advanced techniques related to immediate post-extraction implants and immediate loading, with particular emphasis on peri-implant soft tissue management.
  • In this module, the participant learns the principles and indications of immediate post-extraction implants as well as immediate loading. They discover the importance of soft tissue management, particularly connective tissue, around implants to ensure stability and esthetics. They master soft tissue augmentation techniques such as advanced coronally positioned flaps, pedicled flaps, and connective tissue grafts.
  • The module also addresses socket site preparation, regeneration of post-extraction defects, and prevention and management of prosthetic complications related to these procedures.

Module 7

Laser in Implantology Upcoming

  • Laser in implantology.
  • Introduction to laser use in implantology: physical and biological principles.
  • Clinical applications of laser in implant procedures: soft tissue preparation, disinfection, peri-implant tissue treatment.
  • Advantages of laser in implantology: reduced bleeding, improved healing, decreased post-operative pain.
  • Specific protocols for laser use during implant placement and maintenance.
  • Precautions and safety related to laser use in the implant context.
  • Practical workshop: laser configuration, settings and use in implantology.

visitors/formations/show.module_objectives

  • In this module, the participant discovers laser applications in implantology, particularly its use to improve the precision of surgical interventions, promote soft tissue healing, and treat biological complications such as peri-implantitis. They learn the different laser technologies available, their specific indications, as well as the advantages and precautions related to their use to optimize clinical outcomes.
