This program consists of 5 modules detailed below.
This module covers the fundamental and advanced surgical principles of periodontology, with a focus on periodontal tissue healing and the various periodontal surgery techniques. Participants will discover protocols for gingivectomy, gingivoplasty, flap surgery, treatment of furcation involvements, distal wedge techniques, as well as modern approaches to regenerative periodontal therapy aimed at restoring the supporting dental tissues.
This module highlights the interactions between periodontology and the various disciplines of modern dentistry. It addresses the relationships between prosthetics and periodontium, the principles of prosthetic design that respect periodontal tissues, the connections between endodontic and periodontal pathologies, as well as implant protocols in patients with stabilized periodontitis. Particular attention is also given to the integration of periodontology into specialized orthodontic treatments to ensure functional, aesthetic, and biologically stable outcomes.
This module addresses the clinical and aesthetic applications of modern periodontal procedures, including gingival depigmentation, sulcus decontamination, crown lengthening, and gingivectomy. Participants will learn the indications, operative protocols, and biological principles of these techniques in order to enhance gingival aesthetics, periodontal health, and the integration of prosthetic restorations.
