Aligners in the dental practice

This advanced program in clear aligner therapy offers a comprehensive understanding of the digital workflow, biomechanical principles and clinical management of orthodontic treatments with aligners. Participants will learn how clear aligners work, the major differences between aligners and fixed orthodontic appliances, as well as the selection criteria for cases suitable for Clear Aligner Therapy (CAT).

The training covers biomechanical protocols and treatment planning for cases of crowding, spacing, Class II Division 1 and 2 malocclusions, vertical dysfunctions as well as Class III cases. Particular attention will be given to staging concepts, including macrostaging and microstaging, in order to optimize the predictability of tooth movements.

The program also includes mastery of digital planning software, the materials and processes for aligner fabrication, as well as the use of digital laboratory equipment. Through numerous hands-on sessions and practical software workshops, participants will develop concrete skills in design, clinical follow-up, complication management and optimization of clear aligner treatment outcomes.
